Summer

Well summer is officially here. It's still a good idea to check your dog(s) over for ticks after a walk especially if you like to hike on trails and open grass lands. But another great concern is spear grass. Spear grass is everywhere so it's really hard to avoid it getting stuck in your dogs fur. Nature designed it to do just that. I suggest using a flea comb to get it out of fine fur and "underfluff". If you are not sure what spear grass is and it's hazzards please speak with your vet.
We wish you all a happy and safe summer. Please remember not to leave your dogs in your car in the summer. Leaving the windows open a bit and even leaving water it's still way too hot even for a few minutes.
